Tamizhan Siragugal Trust began as a passionate group of young individuals inspired by the vision of the Late President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and his Mission 2020 to make India a global superpower.
Two first-year engineering students, A. Dhinesh Raja, and P. Muthukumar, recognized the urgent need to address societal issues rather than merely discussing them. Determined to bring about positive change, they gathered like-minded youths, forming a dedicated team committed to social development and self-improvement.
Our team has actively contributed to numerous social causes, including disaster relief efforts during the Kerala floods, the Gaja cyclone, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Chennai floods. We have planted over 8,000 saplings across Tamil Nadu’s southern districts, promoting environmental sustainability. Our dedication has been recognized with nine awards from various NGOs and organizations for outstanding service to society.
In addition, we actively support healthcare by organizing blood donation drives and assisting people in need of urgent blood support across southern Tamil Nadu.
To further expand our impact, Tamizhan Siragugal Trust was officially registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882.
Today, our trust proudly comprises over 70 active members who continue to engage in impactful programs, including regular visits to orphanages and community welfare initiatives throughout Tamil Nadu.
We remain committed to fostering positive change, nurturing young minds, and building a stronger, more resilient society.
